Under General, check the option for Open using Rosetta.Go to the File menu at the top of your screen and choose Get Info.Note: You do not need to launch Word, just highlight it. In EndNote select Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager. Highlight the Microsoft Word app file by clicking on it once. Open Mendeley Desktop and click File > Add Files Select the file which you exported from EndNote and click Open In addition to the EndNote XML format, you can also export references to Bibtex and RIS format in EndNote which Mendeley Desktop can also import. Mendeley is free referencing software that you can download onto your Mac or Windows computer.Open Finder and go to the Applications folder. The trick to get around this is as following: ![]() If you have this version automatically installed on Mac, then it would not recognize your Endnote due to the mismatch with the "cite while you write" compatibility. ![]() ![]() To import the pdf file (s) (if necessary). Click Import and the references will be added to your EndNote library into the Imported References folder. There would only be one slight glitch as there is a new M1 compatible version of MS Word. Select Choose to locate the My Collection.xml of Mendeley references you have saved and select EndNote generated XML in Import Option. However, you won't notice much of a difference as these softwares run super fast on this M1 chip even when they don't run natively. Both Endnote and ChemDraw work on the M1 Mac but not natively.
